A family friend told me about the NACA program in 2015.  I went ot my workshop in December 2015 and my initial appointment in June 2016.  I worked diligently with my counselor to become qualified which I did in December 2016.  I found my home (not yet built), made an offer, and went under contract Christmas 2016.  After my home was completed, I closed on 4/25/2017– 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathrooms with a 2.8% interest rate.  the program required patience but I am happy that the NACA staff was able to get me to this point of homeownership.
