My name is Nedra and I’m here at the NACA office in Hartford. I just closed on my condo in Meriden, Connecticut. I bought it for $295k. My interest (rate) was 5.875% And my monthly payment is $2,115 a month.  I just want to say the experience was great. It was quick. I had guidance from my counselor Barbara and my realtor Michael. And they helped me every step of the way. They helped me learn to save my money, budget my money so that I could have an affordable place to live that is way better than where I have been living. And I would recommend the program to anybody. There’s no closing costs. There’s no down payments. The place is immaculate. It’s moving ready. I didn’t have to repair anything. It’s large. So my whole family has space now. We’ve kind of lived like sardines for a long time. There’s a pool. There’s playground. It’s a well-kept area. So I’m very excited that today I’m going to be living somewhere where I can put down roots in a nice area, feel like I belong, I can afford. And it’s very exciting.
