I heard about NACA through my brother who purchased a house through the program.  I went to a workshop in February 2016 even though I wasn’t quite ready. Once the requirement was met, and I was able to start looking at houses, the process went fast.  However, the paper submission accelerated beyond expectations.  then again you are asking someone to loan you a bunch of money.  We had a small delay with HAND which affected the closing date.  But here I am about to close on the house and its all worth it!
