We just closed on our first home in Jonesboro, Georgia with a 4.75% interest rate with three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms.  We thought we were not going to get accepted, but we never gave up hope. And here we are now. We are moving into our first home. Keep up with the pay stubs. Make sure you’re updated. Be very patient. Don’t open any unnecessary credit cards or anything. Talk to your counselors. They’re there to help you. I’d like to give a shout out to Lucille Valentino, our counselor. And our real estate agent, Tamara. And just keep all your paperwork together. Use the portal every time. Make sure you update those because they will remind you. Believe you can do it. Trust in your NACA counselor.
