This has been a wonderful experience for me all the way around.  I am 53 and didn’t even know I would even want to seek owning a home.  When I did realize I was seeking security for myself, I decided to stand with my bank of almost 20 years.  Even though I have been a member in good standings and have good credit, I would not have been able to start the home buying process until I had less debt and had a chunk of $$$$ in my savings.  Hence came along NACA through a dear friend and coworker She said, “Just go to the NACA website and check it out.”  I did, liked what i saw, and went to the awesome workshop facilitated by Michelle Mitchell.  Today, I sit in a lawyer’s office awaiting the signing process of owning my own home.  When all I had in savings 6 months ago was $100! Thank you NACA!
