Our overall experience was great.  There were ups and downs but everyone of them were worth the end result.  We learned a great deal through the whole process.  We learned to watch and maintain our credit history, we learned how to save money and we learned a lot about how to have patience and put in some effort, the dream of owning your own home can come true.
