I could not have done this without God and from all the support he sent me from NACA Team, family members, friends, and my coworkers at Cardinal.   My experience of purchasing this home was life changing. I received the following: Education about the program and services, filling out lots and lots of paperwork, waiting on approval from the funding source, attending multiple meetings with my NACA Team, credit checks, housing Search, selection of my house, Inspections, repairs, turning on Utilities, clear to close, signing closing paper and receive my keys, and going shopping for housing items.  Although this process had many steps, I was never alone on my journey to owning my first home.
All the glory goes to God for sending me the best supporters like Janelle Williams, my NACA Mortgage Counselor, and  Antonette Thompson, NACA Real Estate Agent, and other NACA Team in the Charlotte Office in Charlotte, NC. Thanks to all my family and friends for their support, advice, suggestions, and recommendations. I used all of it to help me not to give up.
Today, I am now a homeowner of a three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms with a porch house. I have mortgage with a 3.0 interest rate.  I am now in a better financial standing due to the great counseling/coaching I received from Janelle from NACA. I am so honored, blessed, and humble to be surrounded by so many supporters that helped me through this process. My brother, Steve, pointed out to me that I am the first of my six siblings to own her first home.  I don’t have enough words to express my gratitude to my team of Supporters but to say, “Thank you, thank you and thank you. God bless you all.
