I closed on my home February of this year.  This is my first home, and I have been a renter for the entirety of my adult life prior.  My interest rate is 2.889% and my monthly payment (mortgage, insurance, taxes, HOA) is $1573.  That’s a difference of only $105 more than what I paid in rent for a 1Bd/1Ba apartment. I’ve gone from 770 sq feet in my apartment to more than 2000 sq feet in a 3-level townhouse with 2 bedrooms, a bonus room, 2 full bathrooms and two half bathrooms!

My home is what I prayed for.  The vision of what my life would look like in a home, God has provided.  I get to watch the sunset from my deck on nice evenings, and cook in my kitchen and create memories in my space. I am overwhelmed with happiness and thankfulness.  I did not do everything right or on time throughout my NACA process, but I eventually got serious and completed what was asked of me.  I encourage people to stay diligent.  The NACA process is so worth it.
