My journey has been long to home ownership. I never thought I could do it, but I found NACA, I heard about NACA through my union. And I’m so glad that I did because it made the whole thing possible. Michelle, we are my mortgage counselor, was incredible the entire way. I lived in the house as a renter and when my landlord passed away, I had the opportunity to make an offer on the home. And because of NACA, that offer was affordable. I was also able to get a very large rehab escrow with NACA that’s gonna allow me to prepare the home and make it my home, the home I’ll share with my daughter. And it’s just been an incredible journey. My rate is 4.875%. And I got money back at closing today, which I’m told is unheard of. So very exciting. For anybody who is gonna go through the process, I just say, stay the course, do what your counselor says, be timely, be disciplined, be focused and stay on your vision, because it is possible. But every step of the way, you were there as my counselor and I’m so grateful. Thank you NACA.
